Harry Potter Snowglobes: Shake Up The Magic

J.K. Rowling's wildly successful book collection about a young boy's adventures at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has spawned a series of Harry Potter blockbuster movies, inspired a popular collection of Harry Potter toys, and helped to create several Harry Potter merchandise lines. Harry Potter fans, which are estimated to number near three hundred million, have also recently discovered the luminous underwater world of Harry Potter snow globes.

Featuring detailed scenes, triumphant challenges, and a cast of characters from the most popular Harry Potter movies, these snowglobes shroud the colorful shenanigans of Hogwarts in a world of snowy glitter and water. Scenes such as Harry's Ride on the Hogwart's Express, Harry and Professor Snape, Harry Riding the Quidditch, Harry at the Yule Ball, and The Chess Game Challenge are depicted in striking detail. Harry Potter fan favorites such as Ron Weasley, Hedwig, Hermione, and Dumbledore with Phoenix are also featured in many of these collectible snow globes.

Harry Potter snow globes come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes to suit every Hogwarts fanatic, from small Christmas tree ornament sized snowglobes, to standard glass globes on scenic sculpted bases, hourglass globes, and over-the-top fantastic globes with fully animated Hogwarts Express trains traveling around the base. Many feature wind-up musical bases which play popular songs from the various movies, such as "The Great Hall Entry/Banquet Theme", "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik", and "Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone Prologue".

A select few of these collectible snowglobes also offer an illumination feature to highlight the scene within.

Start Collecting Harry Potter Snowglobes

It is easy and fun to start a collection of Harry Potter snow globes for yourself, or for a loved one. You can start by collecting globes that feature scenes from your favorite movie in the series, or you might decide to focus on collecting snowglobes that feature your favorite character. Alternatively, you may choose to specialize in snow globes that feature Harry's important Tasks or Challenges, and try to collect them all in order.

Starting with a Collector's Set is another option. Sets of collectible snowglobes often offer variations on a common theme, such as one collector's set that features a trio of Sorting Hat globes, or another that features globes with The Crest of Ravenclaw, The Crest of HufflePuff, and The Crest of Slytherin. Rare or out-of-production globes provide another theme you may decide to base your collection on.

Regardless of which globes you decide to begin with, your collection of Harry Potter snow globes is sure to cast a spell on the entire household.
